IEOut
One of IE's hallmarks is diversity and sense of community. We are pleased to announce the creation of the IE Lesbian Gay Bisexual Network (Club name to be decided). The aims of the group are to:
Enable networking in school, business and the community.
- Provide a social forum for members and the school at large
- Build on IE's strengths of diversity and acceptance
- Be part of a wider community through its association with five other major European Business Schools
- The group would like to encompass all communities within IE, including students, alumni and faculty.
We hope that our members will benefit from social and professional networking and recruitment initiatives in several countries.
A kick-off meeting will take place at 12 noon on September 29th in C-201 (Maria de Molina building) and everybody (students, alumni, faculty and staff) is welcome. The agenda for the meeting will be:
1. To define club’s objectives.

The Women’s Club of IE contributes to the construction of a fair world, reducing barriers to an improved quality of life for women, and to the consolidation of their professional carreers. The Club acts as a meeting point between women and men who provide each other with support, and who, thanks to their shared belief in the benefits of equal working opportunities, act to improve their professional careers, by contributing to their personal and professional enrichment through the exchange of knowledge, experience and opinions. Their objectives include the elimination of barriers that reduce female access to executive roles, and the creation of innovative solutions to transform our society in the positive direction, promoting relations with public or private institutions who lobby for the development of new policies favourable to women in work. Typicial activities include round tables, breakfast meetings, networking events, participation in projects and studies related to women, career advice and training.

L'AFIE (Alliance Francophone de l'Instituto de Empresa) a pour ambition de rassembler tous les francophones de l'IE, nouveaux et anciens élèves.
Si vous êtes originaire d'un pays francophone ou si vous parlez le français, venez nous rejoindre! L'AFIE organise chaque mois des rencontres informelles durant lesquelles vous pourrez établir de nouveaux contacts avec des professionnels d'horizons, de promotions et de masters différents. Ces rencontres sont aussi l'occasion de nouer de nouvelles amitiés, de pratiquer votre français ou tout simplement de trouver de nouveaux partenaires pour une partie de pétanque!
Nous nous réunissons tous les premiers jeudis du mois à 20h00.
